The Dishwasher position at Dave & Buster's plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety standards of the entire facility. Dishwashers are responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and properly storing all dishware, flatware, utensils, and kitchenware to ensure that all items are ready for use and uphold the highest hygiene standards. This role contributes significantly to the smooth operation of the kitchen and overall guest satisfaction. Job Requirements

  • Work days, nights and/or weekends as required
  • Work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
  • Read and write handwritten notes
  • Lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Move about facility and stand for long periods
  • Walk or stand 100 percent of shift
  • Reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
  • Be at least 18 years of age

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous maintenance experience at a hotel or restaurant is preferred but not required
  • Ability to clearly communicate with guests and team members
  • Friendly and able to smile while working

Job Duties

  • Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment
  • Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and take prompt corrective action or suggest alternatives
  • Use all chemicals properly in correct quantities for safety and cost control
  • Safely and correctly operate all equipment
  • Clean and sanitize all dishware, flatware and glassware
  • Carefully sort all dishware and flatware to ensure none are lost or disposed of
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen pots, pans and utensils
  • Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Carefully handle all glassware and dishware to eliminate breakage
  • Empty all trash in the kitchen and clean and maintain trash cans
  • Assist other kitchen staff with pressure point relief during the shift as needed
  • Assist with line maintenance, sweeping and clearing dirty dishes
  • Assist with some prep and banquet items as directed by management
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and dish areas, floors, walls and drains
  • Assist in maintenance of kitchen storage areas, cleanliness and stocking
  • Clean and maintain all mats
  • Assist other team members as needed or when business needs dictate
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company team members to foster a cooperative and harmonious climate
  • Be friendly and able to smile while working days, nights and/or weekends as required
  • Demonstrate clear communication with guests and other team members
  • Be disciplined and self-motivated
  • Be dressed neatly, clean and professional at all times
