Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior restaurant or dishwashing experience preferred
- ability to use cleaning chemicals safely
- ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong work ethic
- basic English communication skills

Job Duties
- Create a positive guest experience by cleaning and maintaining hygienic work areas
- maintain the cleanliness of all surfaces and equipment including floors, ceiling tiles, walls, windows, worktables, hoods, vents, grills, refrigerators, service counters, storage areas
- remove refuse to designated areas
- clear and reset tables in dining areas between seatings and transport service-ware to kitchen for cleaning
- scrape food from dirty dishes, pots, and pans and wash them by hand or load dishwasher and return them to proper storage place
- clean equipment using specific chemicals to meet sanitary standards which may include use of heavy equipment
- assist guests with specific requests and communicate special needs to server or supervisor
- load and unload supply trucks transferring between storage and work areas
- stock, date, rotate, and check temperature of food items
- perform other duties as assigned
