Job Duties
- Accountable for assigned daily cleaning job including mopping sweeping garbage removal
- Run the dishwashing machine according to established procedure and put clean dishes in proper place
- Check all paper and soap dispensers and refill when necessary
- Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations and standards to meet government and company stipulations in accordance with Title 22 regulations for Skilled Nursing Facilities
- Help cooks prep food as needed
- Help salad prep cook set up and break down noon salad bar
- Transport carts to Medical Center and Hillcrest
- Assist in putting deliveries away following established procedures for rotating products
- Assist Dining Room Supervisor as needed in employee dining room
- Follow safety policies and exhibit safety habits and practices sanitary standards per department policy
- Use equipment and materials in a safe and acceptable manner following safety procedures and use appropriate safeguards
- Conduct self in a manner that reflects credit on Carmel Valley Manor and encourage others to do the same
- Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene including proper hand washing use of hairnet or hat in food production area and maintaining a neat appearance
