Job Duties

  • Wash all dinnerware, pots, and kitchen items using the dish machine and three-pot sink
  • Clean designated areas in the kitchen and dining rooms
  • Properly dispose of all garbage from the dining room
  • Comply with all sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements
  • Follow procedures for sanitation, food preparation, and safe food handling in assigned areas
  • Adhere to safety procedures for lifting, bending, and other tasks to prevent injury
  • Demonstrate knowledge of fire safety procedures and assist in evacuating residents in case of an emergency
  • Collaborate with staff from other departments to perform job duties
  • Adapt to changes in responsibilities, be receptive to new methods, and flexible in completing assignments
