Job Requirements
- Previous dishwasher experience is required
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position satisfactorily
- Must be available for full-time schedules including varying days, hours and weekends
- Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to comply with safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a dynamic educational facility environment
- Must adhere to company policies including drug-free workplace
Job Qualifications
- Previous dishwasher experience
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation
- Good physical stamina for standing and repetitive tasks
- Ability to work full-time shifts including weekends
- Basic understanding of sanitation and safety standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player with good communication skills
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment
- Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation
- Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures
- Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures
- Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures
- Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
- Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
