Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Work days, nights and/or weekends as required
- Work in noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
- Read and write handwritten notes
- Lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Move about facility and stand for long periods of time
- Walk or stand 100 percent of shift
- Reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous maintenance experience at a hotel or restaurant is preferred but not required
- Ability to clearly communicate with guests and team members
- Must be disciplined and self-motivated
- Able to maintain a neat, clean and professional appearance
- Must be friendly and able to smile a lot while working
- Must demonstrate teamwork and cooperation skills
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games
- Keep immediate supervisor informed of all problems or unusual matters and take corrective actions or suggest alternatives
- Use all chemicals properly in correct quantities for safety and cost control
- Safely and correctly operate all equipment
- Clean and sanitize all dishware, flatware and glassware
- Carefully sort all dishware and flatware to prevent loss or disposal
- Clean and sanitize kitchen pots, pans and utensils
- Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Carefully handle glassware and dishware to eliminate breakage
- Empty all trash in the kitchen and maintain trash cans
- Assist kitchen staff with pressure point relief during shifts
- Assist with line maintenance, sweeping and clearing dirty dishes
- Assist with prep and banquet items as directed by management
- Clean and maintain kitchen and dish areas, floors, walls and drains
- Assist in maintaining kitchen storage areas, cleanliness and stocking
- Clean and maintain all mats
- Assist other team members as needed
- Maintain favorable working relationships with all team members to promote cooperation and morale
- Be friendly and smile while working days, nights and weekends
