Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not mandatory
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Reliable and punctual
- Good physical condition and stamina
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
- Basic understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene standards
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Prior experience in dishwashing or kitchen support roles is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Support culinary operations by washing dishes, putting away dish loads and performing other kitchen duties as necessary, including some food prep work
- Assist with receiving of products, stock rotation and general kitchen organization and cleanliness
- Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing area to ensure work gets completed in the most effective and safest way possible
