Job Duties
- operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dishwashers and garbage compactors
- wash and disinfect kitchen and storage areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment
- receive deliveries and properly store perishable goods
- rotate stock to ensure freshness
- use chemical detergents, sanitizers, and rinse agents to clean dishes
- inspect, stack clean items and return dirty items for re-washing
- handle and wash cutlery
- empty trash bins and maintain garbage disposal areas
- clean and mop assigned departmental areas
- recycle glass and cardboard appropriately
- report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions
- follow safety policies and complete required safety trainings
- support team goals and maintain professional communication
- move and lift objects up to 50 pounds
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- perform other reasonable tasks as assigned
