Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- current Food Handler's Permit
- up to one year of experience in kitchen or related roles
- ability to work quickly, safely and under pressure
- effective communication skills
- ability to work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and kitchen areas
- scrape food from dirty dishes, pots, pans, utensils and glassware
- wash dishes by hand or in dish machine
- organize and put away cleaned items in a sanitary manner
- sweep and mop floors and clean patios and sidewalks where applicable
- sort recycling and dispose of all garbage and recycling in appropriate bins and areas
- steam-clean or hose-out garbage cans
- demonstrate teamwork while working respectfully with all team members
- communicate clearly while demonstrating willingness to help all team members
- provide safe workplace environment for all staff members
- provide harassment-free workplace for all staff members
- perform other related duties as required or assigned
