Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior dishwashing or restaurant experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills including reading, writing and verbal communication
  • Ability to safely handle knives, slicing equipment and other kitchen tools
  • Ability to follow instructions related to food preparation and sanitation
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as crouching, standing, kneeling, lifting heavy objects repeatedly
  • Willingness to work in variable environmental conditions including heat, cold, wet and noisy kitchen settings

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Previous dishwashing or restaurant experience preferred
  • Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required

  • Ability to read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by guests

Job Duties

  • Provide guests and team members with clean and sanitized utensils, plateware, glassware and equipment
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Use knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment safely
  • Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by guests and prepare and cook food according to instructions
  • Perform physical tasks including crouching, standing, kneeling, stooping, lifting heavy items and repetitive hand and foot movements
  • Handle kitchen environment hazards such as knives, grills, fryers and cleaning chemicals safely
  • Work in various temperature and environmental conditions including cold freezers and hot grill areas
