Job Requirements
- Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
- Must pass all health screens such as physical, TB, drug test
- Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in dishwashing or kitchen sanitation preferred
- Ability to follow sanitation and safety protocols
- Good physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
Job Duties
- Ensure cleanliness of major kitchen equipment and for washing, sanitizing, drying, and storing china, glass, silverware, pots, pans, and utensils
- Transport all dishes to the kitchen following meal preparation and mealtimes
- Properly clear, wash, sanitize, and restock all dishes, silverware, and glassware
- Properly wash pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils
- Return dishes and utensils to appropriate storage areas
- Break down kitchen for clean up
- Ensure all sanitary and safety standards are met
