Job Qualifications

  • Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience helpful

  • Basic knowledge of dish machine operation
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Maintain a guest focus and a positive attitude
  • Communicate clearly
  • Operate basic dish machine functions
  • Assume 100 percent responsibility for cleanliness of dishes, glassware, tableware, pans, utensils, etc.
  • Lift, place, and remove loaded racks of dishes, glassware, etc. into and from dish machine
  • Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand when necessary
  • Remove and empty loaded trash cans into proper receptacle
  • Clean floors at end of night
  • Comply with all company guidelines regarding food safety and personal safety
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation including tables, shelves, floors, equipment, etc.
  • Complete required tasks within assigned time frames
  • Assist in other areas of facility performing maintenance, cleanliness, etc. as assigned
  • Follow all opening and closing procedures for dish area as assigned
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop frequently
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
