Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior food service or dishwashing experience preferred
- Ability to work a part-time schedule including evening hours
- Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to follow safety and hygiene protocols
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to comply with Morrison Healthcare's drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- Previous food service experience preferred
- Ability to work part-time evening shifts
- Basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety procedures
- Ability to operate dishwashing equipment and related cleaning tools
- Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness
- Good physical stamina for standing and handling kitchen tasks
- Team player with good communication skills
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment
- Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation
- Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures
- Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures
- Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures
- Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
- Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
