Job Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Pass a drug screen and background investigation
- Availability to work typical shifts from 1:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work weekends including a $1.00 weekend differential
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
Job Qualifications
- A desire to make a difference in the lives of seniors
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness standards
- Previous experience in food service is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
- Support the culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Manage waste disposal and recycling processes in the kitchen
- Report any equipment issues to management
