Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 17 years of age
  • Pass a drug screen and background investigation
  • Availability to work typical shifts from 1:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work weekends including a $1.00 weekend differential
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks

Job Qualifications

  • A desire to make a difference in the lives of seniors
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual work ethic
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness standards
  • Previous experience in food service is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines
  • Support the culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling processes in the kitchen
  • Report any equipment issues to management
