Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Food safety certification
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in hot, humid, and noisy environments
- Good physical condition to perform repetitive motions
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks

Job Duties
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans according to food safety codes and club standards
- Polish silverware, platters and chafing dishes
- Collect and dispose of kitchen trash, clean and line garbage cans, break down boxes and remove debris
- Examine garbage for misplaced reusable items
- Clean and polish stainless steel surfaces in the kitchen including shelves, cabinets and equipment
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors
- Store all dishes and kitchen wares properly
- Clean dishwashing machine and dish area as scheduled
- Assist in food preparation, store foods after delivery, and clean coolers, freezers and storerooms
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies like soap and paper towels
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Handle china and glassware carefully to minimize breakage
- Inspect kitchen floors to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Complete weekly kitchen cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Store cleaning equipment safely
- Use chemical cleaning supplies safely
- Prioritize washing of specified service items to assist servers
- Follow proper sanitation and personal hygiene practices
- Attend staff meetings
- Perform other tasks assigned by Back of the House Manager
