Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in dishwashing or kitchen maintenance is an advantage
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

  • Team player with a professional attitude
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Maintain a guest focus and a positive attitude
  • Communicates clearly
  • Knowledge of basic dish machine operations
  • Assumes 100% responsibility for cleanliness of dishes, glassware, tableware, pans, utensils, etc.
  • Lift, place, and then remove loaded racks of dishes, glassware, etc., into and from dish machine
  • Wash pots, pans and trays by hand when necessary
  • Remove and empty loaded trash cans into proper receptacle
  • Clean floors at end of night
  • Comply with all company guidelines regarding food safety and personal safety
  • Maintains a clean, sanitary workstation to include tables, shelves, floors, equipment, etc.
  • Completes required tasks within assigned time frames
  • Assists in other areas of facility performing maintenance, cleanliness, etc. as assigned
  • Follows all opening/closing procedures for dish area as assigned
  • Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently
  • Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
