Job Requirements
- completion of pre-employment drug test
- ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs
- willingness to work long shifts up to 12 hours daily
- availability to work 7 days a week for 28 weeks
- ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods
- compliance with grooming standards
- prohibition of alcohol consumption during employment
- legal eligibility to work as an American citizen or Green Card holder
- minimum age of 18 years
Job Qualifications
- must be at least eighteen 18 years of age
- must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
- ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, standing or walking for extended periods
- ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
- adherence to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- successful completion of pre-employment drug test
Job Duties
- responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the galley including cutlery, glassware, dishes, and surrounding areas
- receive and carry food deliveries which require lifting boxes that weigh up to 50 lbs
- ensure that the commercial dishwasher is operating properly and efficiently, reporting any maintenance issues to management
- create genuine rapport with guests and cater to all galley requests in an efficient manner
- perform other functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation and assisting during special events including afternoon teas, snacks, and evening entertainment
