Job Requirements
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- ability to bend, twist, push and pull frequently
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- willingness to work in a kitchen environment with moderate to loud noise and varying temperatures
- commitment to adhere to safety and health guidelines
- previous experience in a similar role preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- previous stewarding experience preferred
Job Duties
- Properly fill and maintain the dish machine
- maintain cleanliness standards of the machine according to health department guidelines
- unload dish machine, stack, store and return dishes and utensils to proper areas in both kitchen and other food service areas
- empty garbage cans in dish area and throughout the kitchen as needed
- maintain dish area including floors, walls and counter areas within standards of the hotel and health department guidelines
- sweep and mop floors in dishroom and kitchen
- clean and replace floor mats
- restock areas with required supplies
