Job Description
Twin City Grill, located on the first floor of the Mall of America, is a cherished American grill and a local Minnesota favorite known for its comfortable environment and homemade comfort foods. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work in a noisy and crowded environment
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to communicate effectively in English

- Ability to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
- Multitask calmly and effectively under pressure
- Ability to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends
- Ability to safely use and operate necessary tools and equipment
- Capability to stand and walk for an entire shift
- Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience working in a fast-paced team environment is preferred
Job Duties
- Maintain a pace sufficient to prevent back up of dirty dishes, glasses, etc.
- Return and restock all items to appropriate area after washing and sanitizing procedures are completed
- Ability to read a thermometer
- Maintain dishwashing machinery and communicate any potential issues to Management
- Identify cleaning supplies and notify Management when running low
- Assist with general cleanliness of the back of house and restrooms
- Empty garbage (checking for restaurant supplies) and keep garbage areas clean and covered
- Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures
- Follow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Get along well with others and be a team player
- Other duties will be assigned as needed
