Job Description

Twin City Grill, located on the first floor of the Mall of America, is a cherished American grill and a local Minnesota favorite known for its comfortable environment and homemade comfort foods. As a welcoming retreat from the busy mall atmosphere, the restaurant offers a relaxing dining experience with classic dishes that include Northern Lakes Walleye Fish Fry, Prime Meatloaf with old fashioned gravy, and Roast Turkey with stuffing made from scratch. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience is a plus but not required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to work in a noisy and crowded environment
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
  • Multitask calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Ability to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends
  • Ability to safely use and operate necessary tools and equipment
  • Capability to stand and walk for an entire shift
  • Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Experience working in a fast-paced team environment is preferred

Job Duties

  • Maintain a pace sufficient to prevent back up of dirty dishes, glasses, etc.
  • Return and restock all items to appropriate area after washing and sanitizing procedures are completed
  • Ability to read a thermometer
  • Maintain dishwashing machinery and communicate any potential issues to Management
  • Identify cleaning supplies and notify Management when running low
  • Assist with general cleanliness of the back of house and restrooms
  • Empty garbage (checking for restaurant supplies) and keep garbage areas clean and covered
  • Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures
  • Follow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Get along well with others and be a team player
  • Other duties will be assigned as needed
