Job Requirements
- 1+ year BOH experience in full-service restaurant preferred
- bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
- ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs
- able to work in hot and cold environments
- ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift
- frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping
- manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems
- ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
- visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth and peripheral
- ability to adjust focus as needed
- ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Duties
- Ensures smooth and steady kitchen operations by keeping dishwashing areas organized
- manages tasks efficiently to maintain kitchen workflow
- follows all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- restocks kitchen and cooking line as needed throughout the shift
- performs routine cleaning of the kitchen and assists with general cleaning tasks as needed
- operates dish machine including chemical component handling and water/chemical changes
- keeps floors clean and dry
- ensures plates and smallware are properly washed, sanitized, and stored
- maintains and inspects food receiving, preparation, production, and storage areas for health and safety compliance
- corrects unsafe practices or conditions and notifies management
- commits to food safety, cleanliness, job safety, and sanitation standards
- demonstrates teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise
