Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in kitchen or hospitality environment preferred
  • ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds
  • ability to stand, bend, twist, stoop, reach, and walk for extended periods
  • ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
  • attention to detail
  • commitment to safety and cleanliness
  • ability to follow instructions and work independently

Job Qualifications

  • Hold a current Food Handler Card
  • knowledge of service ware maintenance
  • ability to operate commercial kitchen dish machine
  • ability to follow written product labeling instructions
  • understanding of health and safety standards
  • ability to support team members
  • good communication skills
  • physical stamina and manual dexterity

Job Duties

  • Transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware
  • sort soiled ware for dish or pot machine processing
  • wash all ware and replace in storage
  • maintain dish machine cleanliness and water levels
  • clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots and pans
  • perform general cleaning tasks using hotel cleaning products
  • clean and dry floors to prevent slip and fall accidents
  • separate linen from other debris
  • adhere to company policies and procedures
  • follow safety and security procedures
  • know fire prevention and emergency procedures
  • utilize protective equipment
  • report unsafe conditions to management
  • report accidents, injuries, and property damage
  • maintain a safe work environment
  • maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • perform additional duties as requested by management
  • assist other kitchen personnel when needed
