Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in kitchen or hospitality environment preferred
- ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds
- ability to stand, bend, twist, stoop, reach, and walk for extended periods
- ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
- attention to detail
- commitment to safety and cleanliness
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
Job Qualifications
- Hold a current Food Handler Card
- knowledge of service ware maintenance
- ability to operate commercial kitchen dish machine
- ability to follow written product labeling instructions
- understanding of health and safety standards
- ability to support team members
- good communication skills
- physical stamina and manual dexterity
Job Duties
- Transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware
- sort soiled ware for dish or pot machine processing
- wash all ware and replace in storage
- maintain dish machine cleanliness and water levels
- clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots and pans
- perform general cleaning tasks using hotel cleaning products
- clean and dry floors to prevent slip and fall accidents
- separate linen from other debris
- adhere to company policies and procedures
- follow safety and security procedures
- know fire prevention and emergency procedures
- utilize protective equipment
- report unsafe conditions to management
- report accidents, injuries, and property damage
- maintain a safe work environment
- maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- perform additional duties as requested by management
- assist other kitchen personnel when needed
