Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to pass a drug test excluding marijuana
- Completion of tuberculosis test and physical evaluation
- Compliance with COVID-19 and influenza vaccination requirements as mandated
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods
- Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a dishwashing or similar role is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and hygiene
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team
Job Duties
- Washing dishes and pots efficiently and thoroughly
- Cleaning kitchen equipment and general areas to maintain hygiene standards
- Storing and rotating food and kitchen supplies according to safety guidelines
- Adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation requirements
- Maintaining a safe and orderly kitchen environment
- Assisting with janitorial duties in other food and beverage dedicated areas
- Supporting the overall teamwork and community atmosphere at Sunrise Senior Living
