Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred
  • ability to follow instructions
  • knowledge of buffet line requirements
  • understanding of food/drink temperature preservation
  • knowledge of tribal, federal, state, and local sanitary regulations
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to complete a variety of job duties
  • commitment to personal hygiene
  • ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors
  • flexibility to adjust to weekly schedules

Job Duties

  • Wash pots, pans and utensils
  • place washed items in proper storage areas using safe ware washing techniques
  • maintain cleanliness of dishwashing machine, dish/kitchen areas and workstation
  • clean and sanitize dishware, floors, coolers, and freezers
  • refill dishwasher chemicals as needed
  • clean storage racks
  • participate in daily stand-up meetings
  • timely completion of computer assisted training
  • empty trash containers, wash and replace liners
  • remove trash to portable dump cart and then to large dump receptacle
  • clean and wash fry and steam kettles
  • assist in arranging food and dry storage items
  • utilize safe ware washing and lifting techniques
  • comply with property appearance standards
  • maintain punctual and regular attendance
