Job Duties
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dishwashers and handwashing stations
- wash and disinfect kitchen and storage areas, utensils, knives, and equipment
- receive deliveries and properly store perishable products while rotating stock
- ensure clean dishes are stored in designated areas
- use chemical detergents and disinfectants safely in a three-compartment sink
- inspect, remove, and stack clean items and send dirty items back for washing
- place items on racks and spray with hot water to remove food residue
- sort, soak, and wash or rewash cutlery
- sort and separate containers for dirty items
- empty trash bins and maintain trash deposit areas
- clean and mop assigned areas
- dispose of glass in appropriate containers
- break down cardboard boxes and recyclables and place them in recycling containers
- follow company safety policies and report accidents, injuries, and hazardous work conditions
- communicate clearly and professionally with others
- develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals
- lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- reach overhead and below knees, bend, twist, and lean
- perform other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors
