- knowledge of proper chemical handling desirable
Job Duties
- Adhere to restaurant specifications in operating the dishwashing machine
- wash pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
- assist in cleaning and housekeeping duties
- remove excess food and rinse wares before washing
- inspect cleanliness of washed wares and rewash as needed
- change dishwashing machine water and filters
- maintain and organize workstation with supplies
- clean spills and broken glass immediately
- check and clean sink and floor drains
- use designated chemicals and equipment for cleaning
- comply with Health Department and safety regulations
- transport garbage containers and clean them
