Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • capacity to lift heavy items such as pots and pans
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • adherence to health and safety regulations
  • good physical stamina
  • basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an advantage
  • ability to operate commercial dishwashing machinery
  • knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
  • strong attention to detail

Job Duties

  • wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently and thoroughly
  • operate commercial dishwashing equipment and ensure proper cleaning procedures are followed
  • maintain a clean and organized dishwashing station
  • monitor and replace dishwashing detergents and chemicals as needed
  • assist kitchen staff by cleaning food prep areas and equipment
  • ensure that floors, walls, and kitchen surfaces are clean and free of hazards
  • empty trash and recycling bins, following proper disposal procedures
  • follow safety and sanitation standards to comply with health regulations
