Job Duties

  • Load, run and unload dish machine
  • monitor water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
  • follow sanitation guidelines set forth by the Health Department
  • follow weekly cleaning schedule to maintain the standard of the restaurant
  • keep the dish room clean and organized
  • bag and haul trash to dumpster at designated times
  • communicate with chefs and management about any maintenance concerns
  • clean all restroom facilities before the restaurant is open to the public
  • sweep and mop floors, wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other surface areas
  • stock food, beverages and supplies as directed by the chef
  • proper handling of food
  • dishes must be put away in a timely manner
  • help line cooks properly prep, store, and date food
  • transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
  • restock tools and supplies for the next shift
  • maintain temperature logs
  • keep walk-in cooler/freezer organized
  • all other duties assigned
