Job Requirements
- Able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stock items on shelves above eye level
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods
- Awareness of safety procedures within the kitchen area
- Little to no travel required outside the property and surrounding areas
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a similar kitchen or dishwashing role is helpful
- Knowledge of safety procedures within a kitchen environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Be responsible for the operation and cleanliness of the dish washing machine
- Be responsible for washing all china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and other items used in the restaurant, kitchen, and banquet department
- Breakdown of all boxes and emptying trash containers into the dumpster
- Clean walls in kitchen as appropriate
- Clean floor mats, sweep, and mop entire kitchen floor daily
- Assist in the cleaning of ovens and refrigerators regularly
- Ensure that the dish machine is reading at the appropriate temperature to ensure proper sanitization of dishes
- Ensure that the floor is kept dry and free of debris at all times
- Assist with unloading shipments, dating items, and putting items away
