Job Requirements
- 0-2 years related experience
- Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods without rest or sitting
- Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to reach with hands and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to bend and stoop
- Ability to verbally communicate with others
- Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focus
- Ability to freely access all areas of the restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
Job Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Relies on experience and good judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- General knowledge of commercial dishwashing preferred but not required
- Ability to maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for extended periods
- Strong menu knowledge
- Ability to accurately read, organize, and coordinate tickets
Job Duties
- Responsible for keeping the dish tank area maintained and seeing that cleaned dishes are available for service
- Follow food safety guidelines for washing, drying, and storing dishware and utensils
- Remove cardboard and grease, and maintain the cleanliness of the parking lot
- Maintain cleanliness of property around the restaurant including foyer, front porch, sidewalk
- Empty trash from designated areas throughout shift
- Work with other staff to ensure 100% guest satisfaction relating to dining room cleanliness
- Assist in other job categories as needed
- Perform all other duties as assigned
