Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year of previous dishwashing experience preferred but not required
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods
- availability to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
- must comply with safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
- reliable and punctual
- willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous dishwashing or kitchen sanitation experience preferred
- ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- good communication and teamwork skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in dishwashing machine racks or on conveyor
- washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures
- polishes silverware using burnishing machine, chemical dip, buffing wheel or hand cloth
- ensures compliance with safety procedures
- maintains temperatures and chemical levels as per standards
- keeps dish area orderly and safe
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors
- cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators and food prep surfaces
- removes trash and cleans garbage cans
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- helps load and unload supplies and products
- performs other duties as assigned
