Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- capability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- strong attention to detail and commitment to sanitation standards
- good communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- basic understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
Job Duties
- Cleans pots, pans, and dishes following prescribed procedures found in company policy and procedure for kitchen sanitation
- assists cooks in preparation of breakfast, lunch, or dinner meals
- prepares dishwasher machine for next dishwashing period
- records wash, rinse, and sanitize levels on the dish machine temperature log sheet
- handles all foods, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards in compliance with federal, state and local regulatory procedures
- completes all cleaning duties on daily, weekly or monthly cleaning schedules
- removes all garbage from the kitchen and dish room
- mops the dish-room and kitchen floors twice daily and as needed
- follows all closing procedures as outlined in company policies and procedures as the last employee leaving the kitchen at the end of the shift
- assists with other duties including prep work, hot or cold line assistance, food storage, and dating and labeling
