Job Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • passion for food and people
  • previous culinary experience preferred but not required
  • team player with good attitude and sense of urgency
  • ability to read and follow written recipes, standards, and safety instructions
  • reliable transportation
  • ability to work in hot and cool environments
  • able to lift at least 20 pounds and frequently squat and bend
  • self-accountable in upholding high standards
  • able to work in an extremely fast-paced setting standing for up to 8 hours daily
  • willingness to learn and develop
  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Job Duties

  • ensure cleanliness and quality of dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen items
  • follow food safety and sanitation standards consistently
  • ensure dish machine operates at correct temperatures
  • use proper detergents and sanitizers in dish machine and cleaning processes
  • abide by Material Safety Data Sheets for hazardous chemicals
  • maintain safe, clean, and organized kitchen walkways
  • keep dish area free from debris
  • assist kitchen with prep work, food orders, and produce rotation
