Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen sanitation experience preferred
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures and MSDS sheets
- Ability to handle chemicals safely
- Must be well groomed and wear proper uniform and hat
- Ability to work flexible hours as required
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Strong attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a dishwashing or kitchen sanitation role preferred
- Knowledge of dishwashing machine operation and maintenance
- Familiarity with kitchen safety and chemical handling
- Ability to follow safety protocols including MSDS guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
Job Duties
- Set up, clean and maintain service of dish area
- Ensure tabletop glassware, flatware, plates, and kitchen pots and pans are clean
- Maintain dish machine and ensure it is working properly
- Understand and handle chemicals used in dishwashing and kitchen properly
- Follow safety procedures and understand MSDS sheets
- Keep all back-of-house areas clean and clutter free including sweeping, mopping, drain cleaning, and polishing
- Monitor and empty all trash and recycling
- Support and participate in recycling and sanitation programs
- Prepare other items as needed
