Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- must possess current Food Handler’s Card where applicable
- excellent customer service skills and etiquette
- ability to communicate effectively with team members
- knowledge of chemical use and safety
- ability to work in warm kitchen environments
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment helpful but not required
- ability to learn and follow sanitation and safety procedures
- effective communication skills
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- strong teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Operate industrial dishwasher
- wash dishes and utensils
- sweep and mop floors
- clean and maintain kitchen equipment
- sanitize food preparation areas
- maintain kitchen work areas in clean conditions
- empty and clean trash receptacles
- assist kitchen staff during peak times with basic prep
- load and unload deliveries
- perform opening and closing duties
- clean spills and broken glass immediately
