Job Requirements
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Sufficient manual dexterity to use all kitchen equipment
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull and work continuously
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year or more experience in fine dining or restaurant settings preferred
- Ability to read, write and understand English to communicate effectively
- Manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment
- Physical capability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, and pull
- Ability to lift or carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area
- Safely load and operate dishwashing machines
- Ensure all dishware and utensils are sanitized to community standards
- Collaborate with kitchen and dining staff to support efficient meal service
- Follow established processes and procedures with The Sterling Touch®
- Provide courteous and timely service to residents and guests
- Uphold safety standards in the handling and use of kitchen equipment
