Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of previous related experience
  • Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
  • Willingness to follow directions and work well with others
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of related dishwashing or kitchen sanitation experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to operate dishwashing equipment and manual cleaning tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using automated dishwashers and manual methods
  • Properly sort, dry, and store all clean items to ensure availability for kitchen staff use
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and wiping down work surfaces
  • Empty trash receptacles, break down boxes, and properly dispose of waste and recycling in designated areas
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines at all times
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks and perform additional duties as requested by chefs or managers
  • Clean and detail kitchen equipment, including fryers, tilt skillets, grills, and flat-top stoves
