Job Requirements

  • Be willing to maintain a safe and clean kitchen by performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and stocking dishes and utensils
  • Be able to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds
  • Be able to stay on your feet for long periods of time
  • Maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, team members, and visitors
  • Exhibit a desire to model Touchmark's core values and encourage others
  • Availability to work day/evening hours ending by 7:30 pm
  • Availability to work some weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • No prior experience necessary

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle kitchen equipment safely
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Sweep, mop, and sanitize kitchen floors and surfaces
  • Safely operate kitchen equipment
  • Stock clean dishes and utensils in designated areas
  • Anticipate kitchen needs to ensure smooth operation
  • Work collaboratively with dining services team
  • Uphold safety and hygiene standards
