Job Duties

  • Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of plateware, silverware, utensils, tools, pots, and pans
  • takes out garbage and trash to dumpster area
  • washes work areas, refrigerators, cooking and washing equipment, walls, and floors
  • assembles and breaks down dish machines daily
  • maintains a clean and organized work environment
  • receives orders and puts them away following FIFO (First In, First Out)
  • performs minor food preparation tasks
  • monitors dish chemical levels and communicates when low or malfunctioning
  • checks and clears floor drains daily
  • keeps area safe and dry
  • organizes and places equipment and plateware in correct storage areas
  • works safely in hot and damp environments
  • able to lift up to 50lbs
