Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in operating industrial dishwashers
- Knowledge of sanitation standards
- Ability to maintain kitchen and dining areas clean and orderly
- Capability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation regulations
- Physical ability to perform mopping, sweeping, and trash removal tasks

- Ability to handle chinaware properly to avoid breakage
Job Duties
- Operates and maintains dishwasher
- Responsible for daily chemical level testing and recording of water temperature
- Maintains adequate level of dishwashing chemicals and equipment
- Removes trash from kitchen area to dumpster in a timely fashion
- Maintains trash area in a sanitary manner
- Maintains adequate inventory of clean dishes and utensils for meals
- Returns clean dishes and utensils to proper storage areas
- Assures safety and sanitation regulations are followed at all times
- Maintains dishwashing area in a clean and orderly manner
- Assures all chinaware is stacked and handled properly to avoid breakage
- Assists in storing of food and food supplies as needed
- Maintains food storage area in a clean and orderly manner
- Assists in food preparation as needed
- Responsible for mopping and sweeping of kitchen floors
- Cleans worktables, refrigerators/freezers and sinks
- Prepares employee meal trays as needed
