Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy weights
  • Capable of performing repetitive motions such as bending, squatting, and reaching
  • Available to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment up to 250 lbs
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation under time pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a similar kitchen or dishwashing role preferred
  • Ability to operate dishwashing and sanitation equipment
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety practices
  • Physical ability to handle heavy lifting and prolonged standing
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize all china, glassware, silverware, flatware, pots and pans in the hotel
  • Ensure restaurant and banquet kitchens have requisite amounts of kitchenware to properly open their shifts
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchens and food preparation areas including ovens, grills, stoves, hoods, fryers, preparation slicers, steam kettles, tables and floors
  • Transport and store all pots and pans used in food and beverage operations
  • Assist culinary staff during special requests or priorities as directed by Executive Chef or Sous Chef
