Job Duties
- operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dishwashers and waste compactors
- wash and disinfect kitchen and storage areas, tables, utensils, knives and equipment
- receive deliveries and properly store perishable items while rotating stock
- ensure clean dishware is stored in appropriate areas
- use chemical detergents, disinfectants and rinsing agents in a three-compartment sink to wash dishware
- inspect, stack and rewash items as necessary
- empty trash bins and maintain waste disposal areas
- clean and mop assigned department areas
- break down cardboard and recycle materials
- follow all safety policies and report any accidents or unsafe conditions
- communicate clearly and professionally with team members and support common goals
- lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- perform physical tasks including bending, reaching and stooping as needed
