Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a similar role preferred
- valid food handler’s permit or ServeSafe certification
- ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- pass drug screening criminal background check and reference inquiry

Job Duties
- Washing and sanitizing dishes
- assist in food preparation serving and maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining areas
- check that plate and hot base lowerator is heated and steam table is properly heated
- ensure accurate serving portions and food items on trays before loading to food cart
- ensure appropriate serving utensils are used and temperatures are within standards with all temperatures logged and reviewed prior to tray-line
- ensure trays are garnished neatly arranged silverware cups and dishes are clean and plate covers are dry during tray-line
- check and record excess shortage preparation and discuss with supervisor after tray-line
