Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory
  • ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
  • basic knowledge of dishwashing equipment and sanitation protocols
  • team player with good work ethic and reliability

Job Duties

  • Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine
  • washes pots, pans and trays according to assigned procedures
  • polishes silver using burnishing machine, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth
  • ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures
  • maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
  • keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
  • sweeps and mops kitchen floors to maintain sanitation standards
