Job Requirements

  • Valid Washington Food Handler's Permit
  • Open availability including weekends
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Maintain hand and working surface sanitation at all times according to specifications
  • Maintain neat and orderly appearance with clean uniform at beginning of each job shift
  • Set up dish machine for use
  • Refill coffee dispensers and condiments as necessary
  • Deliver carts to designated areas at noon meal
  • Pick up hot bottoms and lids, wash and put away
  • Wash dishes left from night shift and proceed with dishes from other meals
  • Empty garbage after dishes are all finished from each meal, sanitize barrel and reline
  • At end of shift, run floor mats through the dish machine
  • Empty and cleanse dish machine, clean filters
  • Sweep and mop dish machine area
  • Sanitize all counters, racks and sinks
  • Maintain a safe environment, to include keeping floor dry and free of debris which can cause falls
  • Keep supervisor apprised of all changes in equipment performance and the need for supplies
  • Monitor dish machine temperatures and report if unsatisfactory
  • Attend mandatory meetings
  • Perform all other duties as requested by supervisor, with a positive attitude
