Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous dishwashing or restaurant experience preferred
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Physical ability to perform repetitive hand and foot movements, crouching, standing for long periods, lifting over 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working in a variable kitchen environment with exposure to heat, noise, fumes and cleaning chemicals
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Previous dishwashing or restaurant experience preferred
  • Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required
  • Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment
  • Able to read food order slips or receive verbal instructions
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Provide guests and team members with clean and sanitized utensils, plateware, glassware and equipment
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Use knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment safely
  • Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by guest and prepare and cook food according to instructions
  • Follow kitchen safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness of work areas
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed
