Job Requirements
- Ability to perform manual dishwashing and kitchen cleaning tasks
- Willingness to work full-time schedule Monday through Friday with flexible hours
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Ability to handle chemicals and kitchen equipment safely
- Good physical condition to lift and move kitchen supplies
- Familiarity with foodservice sanitation practices preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in back-of-house or dishwashing roles preferred
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical stamina to stand and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment
- Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures
- Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures
- Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures
- Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
- Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
