Job Requirements
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED) or pursuing diploma
- previous experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant or similar setting preferred
- ability to operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
- strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- strong communication skills including effective listening
- flexible and adaptable to changes in workflow, menu items, and staff
- ability to remain calm during peak hours
- ability to use employee self-service on company’s human resources/payroll database
- valid driver’s license
- unexpired Arizona food certifications
- must be at least 19 years of age
- regular attendance is required
- additional hours including weekends may be required
- ability to manage multiple competing tasks
- follow internal procedures and safety standards

Job Duties
- operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment following established procedures and standards
- sort and stack dirty dishes and utensils for washing, removing any food residue and debris, and ensuring that items are properly prepped and organized for efficient cleaning
- hand wash delicate or oversized items that cannot be cleaned in the dishwashing machine using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques to ensure thorough sanitation
- keep the dishwashing area clean and organized at all times, including wiping down surfaces and replenishing cleaning supplies as needed
- ensure efficient dishwashing practices to help reduce downtime in the kitchen and restaurant
- take out trash when needed
- may assist cooks with basic food preparation tasks
- participate in pre-shift meetings, taste tests, and training
- conform with all safety standards and use of all appropriate safety equipment
- follow good personal hygiene guidelines
- perform other duties as assigned
