Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • excellent customer service skills and etiquette
  • must possess a current Food Handler's Card where applicable
  • ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • ability to learn and properly use cleaning chemicals
  • ability to work in warm to very warm kitchen environments
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment

Job Qualifications

  • experience operating industrial dishwashing equipment preferred
  • knowledge of sanitation and safety practices
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • good communication skills
  • ability to follow instructions and learn quickly
  • basic food handling knowledge preferred

Job Duties

  • Operate an industrial dishwasher
  • wash dishes, sweep and mop floors, clean and maintain equipment
  • sanitize utensils and maintain all restaurant areas
  • maintain kitchen work areas and equipment in clean and orderly conditions
  • clean food preparation areas and facilities
  • execute proper sanitation and safety procedures
  • place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage
  • empty and clean trash receptacles
  • assist prep cooks and kitchen staff during peak times including basic food prep
  • load and unload trucks delivering or picking up food and supplies
  • perform opening, closing, and side work
  • clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
