Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in a similar role is an asset
  • ability to follow health and safety regulations
  • must be physically capable of lifting heavy items and standing for long periods
  • must be dependable and punctual
  • must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • communicate effectively and respectfully with staff
  • food handler certification is a plus for possible prep line training
  • able to lift up to 50 pounds of crated dishware and glasses
  • able to stand for up to 8 hours at a time
  • dependable and punctual
  • willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Properly load and operate dishwashers for optimum cleaning and sanitizing
  • restock clean dishes, utensils, and cookware
  • maintain clean and hygienic work areas and equipment
  • remove and dispose of garbage from cleaned plates and utensils
  • communicate effectively with coworkers and management regarding job performance
  • assist in back-of-the-house areas if needed
  • monitor equipment, supplies, and inventory, advising the Chef if repairs or additional supplies are needed
  • complete assigned weekly cleaning duties and projects
