Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a similar role is an asset
- ability to follow health and safety regulations
- must be physically capable of lifting heavy items and standing for long periods
- must be dependable and punctual
- must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Work effectively in a team environment
- communicate effectively and respectfully with staff
- food handler certification is a plus for possible prep line training
- able to lift up to 50 pounds of crated dishware and glasses
- able to stand for up to 8 hours at a time
- dependable and punctual
- willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Properly load and operate dishwashers for optimum cleaning and sanitizing
- restock clean dishes, utensils, and cookware
- maintain clean and hygienic work areas and equipment
- remove and dispose of garbage from cleaned plates and utensils
- communicate effectively with coworkers and management regarding job performance
- assist in back-of-the-house areas if needed
- monitor equipment, supplies, and inventory, advising the Chef if repairs or additional supplies are needed
- complete assigned weekly cleaning duties and projects
