Job Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial roles
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds regularly
- Ability to follow HACCP guidelines and safety protocols
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to multitask under time constraints
- Strong communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous dishwashing experience
- Excellent attention to detail and self-organized
- Ability to deal with a heavy workload
- Flexibility to work different shifts including night, weekends, and holidays
- Strong prioritization skills and the ability to perform multiple tasks
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation processes/procedures and HACCP
Job Duties
- Follow established rules of entry to building and work areas, properly attired and in compliance with HACCP guidelines for personal hygiene and observe security precautions as mandated by management
- Load dishwashing machine with soiled chinaware, trays, glasses, and silverware in appropriate carriers
- Ensure that the dishwashing machine is operating at a proper temperature and has detergent and necessary chemicals for proper operation
- Unload the machine and place cleaned items in appropriate racks or storage containers in proper storage areas
- Sanitize all trolleys, carriers, oven racks and drawers and deliver to the proper area for storage
- Ensure that all sanitation team members possess and demonstrate knowledge to follow all applicable chemical safety and food safety procedures
- Develop and follow a sanitation schedule to meet the Sanitation SOP frequency
- Lead employees to ensure compliance with all safety, company, and regulatory procedures
- Ensure that the sanitation process meets all FDA and/or USDA and internal requirements
- Ensure that the sanitation SOP is being followed and all activities are documented per company policy
- Perform other duties as assigned by unit supervisors
